Arts & Business

I recently worked with Arts & Business and Progress Film on a series of short animated films for the Arts & Business Awards 2013. I illustrated a map of England that was used to zoom into during the films with a magnifying glass revealing the strong partnerships between business and the arts across England.

Fisherman’s Friend

My drawings were animated for comical Fisherman’s Friend idents that feature on River Monsters a documentary that follows extreme angler Jeremy Wade around the globe exploring fishy tales and myths, that you can catch on ITV and Discovery.

I produced a number of backgrounds, props and character designs that were animated by Drum. The series of animations see a ‘seriously strong’ pack of Fisherman’s Friend menthol lozenges take the bait of Mr. Lofty the fisherman and cast him into a variety of humorous scenarios as he is dragged across the surface of the water clinging onto his fishing rod petrified!

GEICO Now

I produced a series of illustrations explaining the steps of GEICO Auto Repair Xpress. The drawings show the procedure you go through if your car needs fixing after a crash from drop-off to drive off and where used in a slide show on the GEICO Now website.

Hamburg Wasser

I recently completed a hand-drawn illustrated map of Hamburg for Hamburg Wasser. The pocket sized guide has a fold out map that features Hamburg Wasser’s drinking stations, offices and water works around the city of Hamburg.

Hugh’s Three Hungry Boys

Over the past few years I have been creating illustrations for energyshare, that aims to change the way we source, use and generate energy.

I recently created drawings that were animated for energyshare bumpers that feature on Hugh’s Three Hungry Boys that will be on Channel 4 on Sunday’s at 7pm.

The project involved drawing scenic West Country-esque backgrounds and a 1980’s electric milk float called Daisy (with a top speed of 17mph), that the Three Hungry Boys have to charge with renewable electricity on their journey. You can see the trailer here.
